A based the thickness of cardboard that moves through the conveyer system the operator has adjust the glue head for each of the three levels thicknesses which use to be done manually done. Three different ones and setup goes with each one. Each button is dedicated to a different setup. Through my logic controller with its three- button setting, by pressing a button, it gives you different heights and each button for each setup and done. There is a one-time setup procedure. After setting it up with the controller, the operator doesn’t have to manually setup the glue heads any more. By establishing a baseline the process is automatic and accurately repeated each time the operator starts the process. The logic controller standardizes the process and the task can be done in seconds. Greatly reduces setup time and loss of production.
